I have to admit, I wasn’t too sure of this stamping thing when I went to my first workshop. In fact, I only went to chat with friends while sipping on margaritas. My husband was totally surprised when I came home and said, " We need to talk. I know I found the perfect way to add some income while having fun & sharing fun times with others." He had that deer in the headlights look then said, "If it makes you happy, go for it!" I had never stamped before and admit, wasn’t much of a scrapbooker, but knew this was easier than what I was currently doing for extra income. ( woodworking & painting items for craft shows). And so my journey begins. . . . .
I didn’t do my first workshop for a while because I needed to finish the crafting season. I scheduled my first workshop after the holidays and showed up with a broken ankle. Everyone had so much fun and they couldn't wait to get together again.
I am still having fun after 21 years of sharing stamping and forming new friendships.

My HapBEE Stampers in Ink family are across the country and consider them the sisters I never had. We enjoy spending time together , sharing ideas, laughing and buliding the friendships we have all gained through Stampin’ Up!. I have also met new friends from around the world. Never imagining how many friends this journey would bring into my life. I am truley blessed. 
  
Being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is so rewarding. Not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach, offering fresh project ideas and encouragement to my customers,fellow demonstrators, and friends. In today's economic times, I find myself showing others how to save money and share a piece of themselves with others. 
You will often hear the comment that it is much more than stamping, it's all about the relationships that we gain. I love brining others together and watch as strangers build friendships and share the joy of stamping. I will often hear," I used to stamp and paper craft but I don't know anyone else that does and it just isn't any fun doing it by yourself." That is what I do, I bring people together so come join us! I am positive you will once again have the joy of crafting with others in your life.

For me, helping someone create that perfect project for a special occasion is the best feeling in the entire world. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people you love. Anyone can go on the internet and copy ideas but I love the personal interaction. Besides, don’t you feel funny shouting at your computer," Look what I just created!" ? I can aslo show you how to do a bit of home decor with our products.
